Solutions
Make repeatable work easier to run.
Create fresh tasks from a reviewed outline and keep each occurrence accountable.
The work to improve
Copying an old task can carry stale decisions and discussions into a new cycle. Repetition should preserve useful structure while giving the new work its own evidence.
The creator’s authority and the destination are checked again when an occurrence runs. A failure moves the schedule to Needs attention so the team can address the cause.
The scheduler checks roughly once a minute. It creates Vision work rather than providing a precise-time external automation service.
What changes for your team
- Reuse task outlines without copying old approvals.
- Inspect the history of scheduled occurrences.
- Keep personal deadlines visible through in-app reminders.
What you can explore in Vision
- Personal task templates with hierarchy, owners and due offsets
- Daily, weekly and monthly timezone-aware schedules
- Pause, resume, skip and occurrence history
Questions worth asking
Are old approvals copied?
No. Templates store the outline and defaults, not prior comments, attachments or approvals.
What happens when a schedule resumes?
Missed periods are skipped rather than backfilled into a large backlog.
Can we change a shared template?
Current library templates are personal and immutable; create a replacement when the definition or destination changes.
